Aly Englander joined the firm in 2021 as an associate immigration attorney. Aly went to law school to become an immigration lawyer after studying the brokenness of the immigration system during her undergraduate degree and hearing countless stories of how immigration changes lives, including within her own family. As an attorney her utmost focus is advocating for the marginalized, and she loves having the opportunity to fight for family unity, long-term stability, and peace of mind for her clients. Aly has two young children who were both born during law school, and she graduated at the top of her class.
At McCrummen Immigration Law Group, Aly’s practice involves a mix of both business and family-based cases. In each unique scenario, she actively seeks the most beneficial, efficient, and cost-effective route forward for the client while prioritizing empathetic listening and fearless advocacy. In incorporating these tactics, Aly benefits from a diverse background of previous work experience ranging from interning at the United Nations, clerking at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, and interning an employment discrimination firm. These experiences taught her how to view complicated cases from the government’s perspective and always put people before process, which are two essential touchstones for her work.
